Update From Baton Rouge Campuses
Just over a year ago, my wife, Kristen and I moved to Baton Rouge, La from Greenville SC, to restart a Campus ministry at LSU, Southern and BRCC. While we both have had experience in the campus ministry, and as campus ministers, neither of us were quite prepared for what God had in store for us.

Brazil Hosts Multi-Latin Campus Conference
More than 50 campus students from Paraguay, Chile, Bolivia, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Recife, Parana, Goias and the Federal District came together in the Brazilian mid-west to take part in the 1st Campus Conference from the International Churches of Christ to take place in Brazil since 2003.

Summer of Service is a Summer of Success!
It is has been an incredible summer of service in North America for HOPE worldwide. From the top of the world in Barrow, Alaska to the earthquake torn town of Port-au-Prince, Haiti volunteers have been serving in a powerful way. The HOPE Youth Corps and Volunteer Corps programs have been fantastic, and the partnership with the United We Serve program has been meaningful for both the volunteers and the community.

Texas Discipleship Conference Doubles in Size
The Texas Discipleship Conference took place outside Dallas this weekend. With 1800+ adults registered it was roughly double the size of last year's Texas Conference.The huge turnout reflected the growing unity and strength of the Texas churches, which have grown by over 10% in the last 18 months.

The Browns Move Back to Texas
After eight years of living in Nashville and having much impact in the Greater Nashville Church, Steve and Diane Brown have moved back to Texas.

Cartwheels in the Rain
While Joe and Laurel Dubowski were exchanging Valentines gifts, a tragedy was unfolding on the Northwestern Illinois University campus. A gunman had targeted students in a classroom, and their daughter Gayle, was one of the six who died that day.
