Our singles are connected with others all over the Midwest and
nation, and participate in many exciting events and conferences as they
build Christ-like relationships among one another.
Today's teens can have a rough time with the temptations affronted them on a daily basis. Only through our strong family ministry, with teens as equal partners, can we create a mechanism to help them fight back against all the pressures they face.

They start reading earlier than we did.” This commercial for a popular retail store says a lot about our children these days. Things definitely change…for the better we hope! And that is our hope and vision for the children’s ministry – KidzStreet. Jesus states, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them.” The KidzStreet Gang and teachers have the goal of leading the children to Jesus in the spirit of love, faith, and wisdom.

Memorial Day is a federal holiday which was originally observed on May 30 of each year. It was first known as Decoration Day as proclaimed on May 5, 1868 in order to honor the Union troops who died in the Civil War. As you can guess,the southern states weren’t too jubilant to have a federal holiday to honor them there Yankees. The alternative name of Memorial Day was first used in 1882, which I am sure helped the southern folks a bit. Memorial Day was declared the official name on 1967. In 1971, President Richard “Tricky Dick” Nixon declared Memorial Day a national holiday to be honored on the last Monday in May. Like most great events in the United States, Memorial Day had its humble beginnings and evolved to a national level by honoring all branches of service in the great United States.

Faith and Deeds, Deeds and Faith, Works or Faith, Faith or Works. Why not both…
James 2:14 and following says that one has faith and another has deeds. He says that faith without action is dead. He challenges us with this. Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God. Good, even the demons believe that a shudder. WOW that’s convicting. Even the Demons have “faith.” What they don’t have is deeds!
