excitement, focused around the events and activities of our three
premiere educational institutions, the University of Illinois
Urbana-Champaign, Parkland College and Eastern Illinois University.
SINGLE LIFE
Our singles are connected with others all over the Midwest and
nation, and participate in many exciting events and conferences as they
build Christ-like relationships among one another.
Today's teens can have a rough time with the temptations affronted them on a daily basis. Only through our strong family ministry, with teens as equal partners, can we create a mechanism to help them fight back against all the pressures they face.

1. What is the Crazy Cycle?
When two spouses are feeding negatively off of each other and little to no progress is being made, they may be in the Crazy Cycle. The Crazy Cycle is characterized by fighting, a lack of listening, a lack of understanding, criticism, giving each other the cold shoulder, unresolved conflict, unmet needs, and taking each other for granted.

Have you ever been in this situation? It’s Friday night, you’ve changed into sweat pants and your favorite slippers, have your remote in hand, and are kicked back in your lazy boy and the phone rings. What goes through your mind? Do you check the caller ID before deciding if you want to answer it or do you ignore the phone? You decide to answer because it’s one of your friends. They ask you if you are available to go out and help meet a need tonight. Now, what are you thinking? Staying in the lazy boy seems pretty good… I don’t want to go back out… Do they really need my help...? WWJD…?
