premiere educational institutions, the University of Illinois
Urbana-Champaign, Parkland College and Eastern Illinois University.
SINGLE LIFE
Our singles are connected with others all over the Midwest and
nation, and participate in many exciting events and conferences as they
build Christ-like relationships among one another.
Today's teens can have a rough time with the temptations affronted them on a daily basis. Only through our strong family ministry, with teens as equal partners, can we create a mechanism to help them fight back against all the pressures they face.

With Parkland College and its 10,000 +/- students and the University of Illinois and its 50,000 +/- students back in town, the cities of Champaign/Urbana have seemingly come to new life. Soon football (and the traffic that goes with it), fall foliage and cooler weather will be upon us.

Angela and I are less than a week away from a major life change. Our kids are moving out, one to a campus apartment in Champaign and the other to a college in the suburbs of Chicago. I am not sure we are ready. We’ll put on a smile and perhaps shed some tears, help move them, get their apartment or dorm room ready and I am sure have a pit in our stomachs as we move onto the “empty nest” phase of our lives. Then we will go home to our house and be greeted by our dog, Brock. He will probably even wonder what is going on and why it is so quiet around the house. There will be less food for him to get into if it is dropped and less people to slobber on!
