FAMILY LIFE
Join us as we focus on bringing the entire Family Unit together and help one another grow closer to Christ. The result will be dynamic marriages, strong friendships between parents and teens, obedient children, and a family-based outreach to our community.
SINGLE LIFE
Our singles are connected with others all over the Midwest and
nation, and participate in many exciting events and conferences as they
build Christ-like relationships among one another. YPZ meets in C-U
monthly to bring graduate students and working singles together.
Hook up with our great Campus Ministry for food, fun, studies and
excitement, focused around the events and activities of our three
premiere educational institutions, the University of Illinois
Urbana-Champaign, Parkland College and Eastern Illinois University.
TEEN LIFE
Today's teens can have a rough time with the temptations affronted them on a daily basis. Only through our strong family ministry, with teens as equal partners, can we create a mechanism to help them fight back against all the pressures they face.
KINGDOM KIDS
Turn your children over to our Kingdom Kids teachers and they'll never want to come back home! Our programs for Kindergarten through 6th grade keep the kids entertained while teaching them foundations for having a Christ-filled life.
Financial Peace University (FPU) is a biblically-based, video-driven small group study that teaches families to beat debt, build wealth, and give like never before.

Just a few weeks ago, we enjoyed our first congregational meal together cooked in our own new kitchen. In fact, we use our kitchen from 3 - 6 times a week to help with different meetings and functions. Kitchens in churches are not new. Even in the Bible, it is amazing to see how many times Jesus’ ministry involved a meal while he reached out to and preached to others. It is our goal that our kitchen will serve not only as a tool to help in our own fellowship, but also in reaching out to and serving the community.
I want to take a few minutes to thank all those involved in putting together our new kitchen and keep it running. Thousands of dollars were saved by skilled and willing brothers and sisters donating time and effort towards the renovation of our kitchen.

As has been announced, we are currently in the season for our special contribution. As discussed by our Board of Directors, there are several needs that we can meet from this contribution both locally, state-wide and internationally.
Our three primary focuses for this contribution are the Eurasian Missions, H.O.P.E. and recently considered, the need of our sister church in Springfield. Let’s look at all three of these needs more closely.

The International Youth and Family Workshop and the Midwest Parenting Workshop held in Chicago last week was incredible. Over 750 brothers and sisters from around the world gathered for 3 days to talk about, pray about and dream about something that was near and dear to all of us, our families. It was especially fulfilling for Phyllis and me as our whole family was there.
If you were not able to attend this event but would still like to hear what went on you are in luck. All of the lessons, workshops and panel discussions are on the web and you can download them for free!! Just go to www.liveit2giveit.com and click on the “Audio” pull down menu. Then click on the 2009 conference. You can even set these as a podcast and get all of these lessons on your MP3 player to listen to later.

Children's Library
Resources are here to help your kids learn to read!
The Children's Library was inspired for the purpose of helping children learn to read. There is a free checkout of good literature and fun reading for children of all ages and a host of resources for adults to help their children.
The library is open every Sunday during worship and fellowship times, but we do ask that children are accompanied by their parents. Please come and have fun with your children so that you can find that special book to read to them.
There is also a collection of books on tape for the little ones to enjoy. Share your love and cuddle up ---- and read!
